John is a West Plains, MO, native who graduated from West Plains Senior High School in 2016. There, he earned All-State honors as a defensive back and captain of the varsity football team. He then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University, majoring in Criminology. After earning his bachelor’s degree, John worked with the 37th Judicial Circuit’s Juvenile Division before attending law school.
John graduated from Mississippi College School of Law with honors (Cum Laude) in May of 2024. In the course of his legal studies, John earned dean’s list recognitions and the highest grade in his Secured Transactions course. He also participated in the Veteran’s Legal Clinic program, providing legal assistance to our veterans.
John also completed internships with the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office for District 37. During his summer breaks, John worked alongside his father, Roy Williams, at Henry, Williams & Kinder, P.C. John has now joined the firm, where he will focus his practice on personal injury litigation.
John is an avid outdoorsman and spends most of his days off enjoying the outdoors. When he isn’t hunting or fishing, he enjoys playing golf or spending time with his friends and family.
